1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Edubazzar ("the Platform", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Edubazzar is an education marketplace that helps users discover institutes, courses, and coaching classes, and submit applications for programs. We provide information and application tools only. We do not guarantee admission, placement, or outcomes at any institute. Institutes and courses are third parties; we are not responsible for their conduct, content, or policies.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. Use of the Platform from jurisdictions where it is illegal or restricted is prohibited.

4. Accounts

Some features (e.g. admin dashboard) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for operational or legal reasons.

5. Applications and User Content

When you submit an application or other content through the Platform, you grant us a licence to use, store, and share it as necessary to provide the service (e.g. forwarding applications to institutes). You represent that your submissions are accurate and that you have the right to provide them. We are not responsible for how institutes use or retain your application data; their use is governed by their own policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; impersonate others or provide false information; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts; transmit malware or interfere with the Platform; scrape or harvest data without permission; or use the Platform in a way that harms others or our reputation. We may take action, including blocking access or reporting to authorities, if we detect such behaviour.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software (excluding user-generated content and third-party content), is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Institute and course information displayed on the Platform may be owned by those institutes or by us under licence.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Information on institutes and courses is for general reference; we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, officers, and employees) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or any third-party conduct. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred Indian Rupees (INR 100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edubazzar, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
